NAR RELIEF FOUNDATION GRANT UPDATE

The ongoing recovery from the July 27, 2026 tornado has shown just how much a community can accomplish when people come together to help their neighbors. Thanks to support from the National Association of REALTORS® Relief Foundation, more than $194,000 in disaster relief assistance was distributed to over 200 local residents and families impacted by the storm, helping provide much-needed financial support during an incredibly challenging time.

A special thank you goes to Lindsay Turchan, Lindsay Thorson, Michelle Palzer, and Leah Marsh, whose dedication and countless hours reviewing applications and coordinating check distributions helped ensure assistance reached those who needed it most. Their efforts, along with the support of many local REALTORS®, made a meaningful difference in the recovery process.

While our community has benefitted from the generosity of the REALTORS® Relief Foundation, communities across the country continue to face devastating floods, tornadoes, wildfires, and other natural disasters. We have seen firsthand the impact these relief grants can have on families struggling with unexpected expenses and mounting financial burdens. Please consider making a donation to the NAR Relief Foundation so it can continue providing critical assistance to those facing disaster-related hardships. We need to pay it forward!

We also encourage members to support the WRA Foundation and the RANW Foundation. Through charitable grants and community partnerships, these organizations help support programs and services that assist some of the most vulnerable individuals and families in our communities. Your contributions help ensure we can continue making a positive and lasting difference close to home.

Together, REALTORS® continue to demonstrate that our commitment to strengthening communities extends far beyond buying and selling homes.
